PAIRPOINT PAPILLON LAMP. Wonderful Pairpoint puffy lamp has red and pink roses and multicolored butterflies against a dark green background. Exterior of shade is trimmed in gold gilt. Shade rests atop Art Nouveau styled base with puffy leaf design foot and stem leading to two-socket cluster and four arm spider. Similar example of both base and shade are pictured in Malakoff’s book Pairpoint Lamps pg. 38. Shade is signed in gold on the exterior “The Pairpoint Corp. Patent July 9, 1907”. Base is signed on the underside “Pairpoint Mf’g Co” and a “P” inside a diamond with impressed “B3029″. SIZE: Shade is 14″ dia. Overall height is 21-1/2”. CONDITION: Professionally restored chip to bottom edge of shade, possibly done at factory, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-61776 (13,000-15,000)
