RARE SPECIAL ORDER COLT MEDIUM FRAME LIGHTNING RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 77545. Standard grade rifle with 26” oct to rnd bbl, full magazine, gold washed Beach’s combination front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight and mid-range tang sight. It has nicely grained American walnut wood with checkered 2-pc forearm and straight stock with crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine with the metal retaining virtually all of its original bright Colt blue with only a very few light, fine nicks and scratches. Hammer retains virtually all of its bright case colors. Wood is sound with sharp checkering on the forearm and has a few scattered light handling and storage marks, otherwise retains virtually all its bright original varnish.
