HANDEL TREASURE ISLAND DESK LAMP. Exceptional reverse painted Treasure Island shade features center sailing ship illuminated by a bright moon. The outstanding reverse painting truly comes to life when illuminated on a chipped ice shade. Shade is mounted on a Handel bronze tone desk base with shell patterned foot. Shade is unsigned, base is signed on underside of foot with cloth “Handel” tag. SIZE: Shade is 8” across. Overall height is 15-1/2”. CONDITION: Base appears to have old repair where shade support mounts to base arm, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-71875 (4,200-4,600)
