LOT OF TINY VEST POCKET PISTOL AND FLASK. 1) Cal. about 34 perc. Miniature vest pocket percussion pistol with 1” smooth bore bbl, round brass frame, center hammer with safety and folding trigger. Bag shaped grip with silver butt cap. Receiver is engraved on the left side, “Patrick” and “Liverpool” on the right, surrounded by fine floral patterns. The tiny grip is extensively inlaid with fine silver wire and silver flowers with gold blossoms on each side and a gold thistle on the back. English proofs on the bbl and frame. Hammer is engraved in dolphin motif. CONDITION: Fine. No original finish remains on the iron. Brass is a medium mustard patina. There are a couple of loose inlays and possibly one repair, but most decorations are intact. A truly beautiful tiny pistol. 2) Unmarked scarce pistol flask. Small flask with body 3-7/8” long by 2” at the wide part, copper body with brass top and spout, both sides embossed with hanging grouse. CONDITION: The body and top retain a dark mellow patina. Spring is broken, otherwise only a minor dent and scratches. 4-48892 JR684 (500-1,000)
