PAIR OF CAPO DI MONTE VASES. Nice pair of Capo di Monte vases are encircled with relief design of semi-nude women and cherubs around a Roman veranda. Vase is brightly painted with greens, purples, yellows and reds and has rich gold trim on lip and foot. Interior of mouth is decorated with a crackle design in gold gilt. Signed on the underside “Capo di Monte” with the crown and “C” mark, “Made in Italy” and “Bernini” and both vases are numbered “453”. SIZE: 12″ t.
