RARE PAIRPOINT HANGING SHADE. Wonderful Pairpoint Chesterfield shade is reverse painted with scene of sheep, meadows, and homestead with a shepherd (Little Boy Blue) serenading the sheep as he plays his horn while sitting under a tree. The very top of the shade is painted in typical Pairpoint style with an Oriental rug design in rich reds, greens, and golds. This shade is extremely well painted and the subject matter is very rare. SIZE: 16″ w x 7”d. CONDITION: Socket cluster and mounting do not appear to be original. Very good to excellent. 5-71230 (8,000-12,000)
