*WINCHESTER MODEL 40 SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 6576. Fine old shotgun with 30” plain full choke bbl, integral ramp front sight, and it has nicely figured uncheckered straight grain American walnut wood with large forearm and semi-pistol grip stock and Winchester embossed hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Metal retains 93-95% original blue, very strong on the bbl with some wear and scratches with a spot or two of surface rust on the receiver. Wood is sound with minor nicks and storage marks and retains most of its bright original finish. Crisp mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-52730 JR469 (400-700)
