TIFFANY STUDIOS APPLE BLOSSOM TABLE LAMP. Very pretty Tiffany Studios lamp has apple blossom shade with mauve and pink apple blossoms and green leaves against a light yellowy-green background. The sets atop a Tiffany Studios three arm Grecian base with medium brown patina and light green highlights. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York” on a very small tag. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Someone called and told us that this shade was actually a Unique and was pictured in Paul Crist’s book Mosaic Shades II, page 62. In researching we find the Unique shade was a very close copy of this Tiffany design as stated in Mr. Crist’s book, but a single row geometric border was added at the bottom. This exact Tiffany shade design and base are pictured in Tiffany At Auction by Alastair Duncan on page 149, photo 394. There is no question this is an authentic Tiffany Studios lamp. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Overall 22″ t. CONDITION: Very good with some tight hairlines in shade. Base has been waxed and heat cap is a replacement. 5-64983 (25,000-30,000)
