RARE SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 TURKISH CONTRACT REVOLVER. Cal. 44RF. Blued finish, 6-1/2” keyhole ribbed bbl, 2-line address, pinned front sight, round butt with lanyard loop and 2-pc diamond checkered walnut grips with inspector initials “A.F.C.” SN 3624. CONDITION: Fair to good, all matching including the grips. Traces of original finish remain in the very sheltered areas. Balance being a mottled brown patina with moderate to heavy rust. Grips show heavy wear but are sound. Good mechanics, strong dark pitted bore. Screws are battered and the hammer screw has been restored.
