JOSEPHINE PADDOCK (American, 1885-1964) “AZALEA PLANT”. Oil on canvas still life scene shows a pink azalea plant in a decorated bowl/pot. It is in the center of a large brass tray with three red parrot tulips, a cup and saucer and chocolate pot. All resting on a partially covered table with green and brown backdrop. Signed upper left “J. Paddock”. Affixed to back stretcher is a Grand Central Art Galleries Inc., New York Exhibition label. Housed in a modern gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 25″ x 30″.
