GALLE FAIENCE EWER. Spectacular Emile Galle faience ewer is decorated with splashes of color in blue, yellow, gold, rust and brown. One side of the ewer’s body is decorated with a mushroom shaped flower while the opposite side is decorated with a wonderful raised blue and brown grasshopper. Signed on bottom “E G Depose” as well as signed “E Galle Nancy”. SIZE: 9-1/4” t. CONDITION: Some very minor crazing to glaze, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-70986 (1,600-2,000)
