AMERICAN CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY WING CHAIR. Fourth quarter of the 18th Century. The serpentine crest rail continuing to ogival wings centering the upholstered back joined to the upholstered seat flanked by rolled arms. The whole raised on molded and chamfered frontal legs and backswept rear legs, joined by recessed box stretcher. SIZE: 45″ h (to top of back) x 28″ w (overall) x 17″ seat h. CONDITION: Frame is structurally sound. Dark finish. Original brass casters. Very good. 9-95255 (2,500-3,500)
