RARE ADMIRAL DEWEY MINIATURE LAMP. Wonderful rare miniature oil lamp has bullet shaped font impressed with a ship on the front with “Admiral Dewey’s Lamp”. Backside has crossed flags and an anchor and says “Remember the Maine”. The lamp is fitted with its original ball shade with a picture of The Maine on the front and a mountain pictured on the back. Font is supported by feet depicting crossed cannon barrels. SIZE: 14-3/4″ t overall x 8-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor chips to top of shade. 5-65978 (1,000-1,500)
