REMINGTON MODEL 1889 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 76733. Fine Damascus dbl with 28” bbls, choked FULL/CYL with tapered flat matted rib with the maker’s name and address with doll’s head and dbl lump. It has case colored receiver and lockplates with very nicely figured American walnut wood with black insert checkered splinter forearm and checkered round knob stock with Remington embossed hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new, retaining virtually all of its original factory finish to both metal and wood. Bbl has a small nick or two and the wood minor storage and handling marks, otherwise the finish is bright and clear. Receiver and trigger guard have faded case colors on the bottom and lower tang.
