BIRGE L. HARRISON (American, 1854-1929) COLONIAL HOUSE IN WINTER. Oil on canvas scene shows yellow connected colonial house nestled amongst tall Evergreens and smaller trees. Deep winter snow covers ground and roof. Signed lower right “Birge Harrison”. Housed in a gold wood molded frame which appears to be original having a Rabjohn and Morcom San Francisco, CA label. SIZE: 20-1/4” x 16. CONDITION: Three small canvas patches to reverse, some inpainting. Otherwise very good. 9-97218 (1,750-2,250)
