PARKER DBL BBL HAMMER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. SN 38377. Usual configuration, 30-1/8” Damascus bbls that are probably cut to current length. They have tapered concave rib with single bead and maker’s name and address with “TWIST” near the chamber end. It has early style stepped, case colored receiver, extractors and straight grain walnut wood with splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock 14-1/4” over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine plus. Bbls retain 85-90% dark Damascus pattern with some light spotting near the muzzle. Lock plates retain most of their original, slightly muted case colors. Receiver is mostly silvered case colors. Stock has a crack running near the receiver and appears to have been bent downward as there are gaps around the top tang and lock plates. Otherwise, the wood retains a fine old hand-rubbed patina. Mechanics are fine. Bright, shiny bores with light, fine pitting. 4-52405 JR205 (7,500-12,500)
