*RARE COMPLETE WINCHESTER “JUNIOR TRAP SHOOTING OUTFIT”. Cal. 410. SN 2631. Complete in original black fiberboard carrying case, this rare set contains a Winchester Model 20 single bbl shotgun with 26” full choke bbl with brass front bead. It has a flat side receiver with top lever and hammer, straight grain American walnut schnable tip splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with Winchester embossed hard rubber buttplate. The case additionally contains a “midget hand trap”, an original 3-pc iron and wood wiping rod, an original Winchester small wood handle screwdriver, a wood tamper, a box containing a tube of Winchester rust remover, a box containing a tube of Winchester gun grease and a rare can of Winchester gun oil with green label, still containing original oil. It also contains a full sealed box of Winchester “100 Midget Size Clay Targets”. And lastly it contains six original boxes of rare black label 410 ammunition. Four of these boxes are full of original ammunition, #8 shot. One is for #6 shot, but filled with #8 shot. And the sixth has 19 rnds of original mixed sizes. It appears that two of the four labels have been varnished. Also accompanied by about fifty Winchester Junior Trap Shooting Score Sheets, an original pamphlet on how to use and care for the Winchester Junior Trap Shooting Outfit and an original Winchester envelope containing a general instruction sheet for Winchester repeating shotguns. CONDITION: Shotgun retains most of its original bright factory finish to both metal and wood with a couple of minor scratches on the bbl, some light edge wear on the receiver and sound wood with a few light handling and use marks with a bruise on the buttstock. Trigger guard and top tang have some light flaking. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bore. All of the small accessories are fine. Clay target box has a bright blue label with fine foreground scene of a 1920’s family shooting trap. Shot shell boxes, as previously mentioned, are generally fine, all are open, one has a small tear in the lid and another one or two has small losses on the boxes. Labels are generally intact with bright colors. Carrying case is crisp with bright green interior and some slight damage to the leather handle. 4-52436 JR655 (5,000-10,000)
