14KT GOLD ELGIN POCKET WATCH. Nice Elgin lady’s pocket watch has simple movement marked “Elgin National Watch Co” with serial number “2269502 Safety Pinion”. The watch is housed in a 14kt yellow gold case which is engraved with sprays of flowers and leaves with a central shield which has not been monogrammed. Reverse side of case has matching pattern, however central shield has been engraved with stylized leaves. Case is marked “Warranted 14k U.S. Assay” and “B. W. C. Co”. Inside back cover is engraved with “Connolly”. SIZE: 1-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Porcelain face has several tight hairlines and hinge to front cover appears to have old solder repair. 5-64632 (400-700)
