FABULOUS PAIR OF SHELL DECORATED FRAMES. Interesting artichoke type clusters at the middle with snail cluster corners, small abalone type shells surrounded by snails at the sides, top and bottom. Aqua velvet interior. 19th Century. PROVENANCE: Originally from the Guy Wiggins Estate, CT. SIZE: Total is 14” x 17-1/2”. Inside is 9-1/2” x 12-1/4”. CONDITION: Generally very good, there are a few breaks in the shells. 9-71754 (1,000-2,000)
