MODEL 1860 CAVALRY SABER. 34-1/2” blade marked “Ames Mfg. Co., Chicopee, Mass.,” also marked “U.S., GWS, 186_” (last digit of date not discernable). New reproduction scabbard. CONDITION: Blade is brown/gray & pitted overall. Hilt is bent & pommel shows numerous dents. Grip is missing most leather and all but one strand of orig wire.
