WINCHESTER HIGH WALL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 40 EX. SN 11030. Standard grade rifle with 30” #3 rnd bbl, blue blade Rocky Mountain front sight with platinum line insert and 3-leaf platinum line express rear sight. It has uncheckered straight grain American walnut wood with black insert schnable tip forearm and straight stock with smooth steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbl retains 95-97% strong original blue with minor nicks and scratches. Receiver retains most of its original case colors, slightly muted overall. Lever, hammer and breechblock retain most of their original case colors, also muted. Buttplate retains 50-60% blue brown patina. Forearm has a repaired hairline by the bbl channel, otherwise the wood is sound and retains about 90% original varnish, dull on the forearm.
