EARLY AMERICAN MAPLE AND PINE CHAIR TABLE, PROBABLY MAINE. Circa 1800. The large circular four-board top hinged to the shaped horizontal arms with rolled grips, joined to the square seat on square chamfered supports. With old dark varnished finish over original teal painted surfaces. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h. x 53-1/2″ dia. Open: 65-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Top with old braces on seams and later reinforcing boards with nice crackled finish. 9-95019 (1,800-2,200)
