SWISS VETTERLI BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 41 Swiss RF. SN 198848. Usual configuration with 33″ oct to rnd bbl, square base front sight and 1200 meter rear sight. It has 2-pc walnut stock with full-length forearm, two bands and wiping rod with lug for saber bayonet on the upper band. There are small cartouches & stamps on the wood. It has a pin through the wrist and a semi-crescent buttplate with short tangs. CONDITION: Very fine. Appears to be all matching with the metal retaining about 95% strong orig blue. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks, dings & scratches. Good mechanics, full of Cosmoline, bright shiny bore under Cosmoline.
