R. H. LESESNE (American, First half 20th Century) “SMYRNA DRIVE”. Orotone photograph shows a winding dirt road through tropical vegetation including palm tree and moss-laden trees. Signed lower left “Lesesne”. Housed in its original gesso-decorated frame and having the original labels with pencil title and explaining that the photograph is made on glass and referred to as a “Haberle-tones”.
