ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON 38 DOUBLE ACTION 3RD MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish, 4” keyhole ribbed bbl with 2-pc embossed hard rubber grips. About 30% coverage factory foliate arabesque pattern engraving with punch dot background. SN 174615. CONDITION: Good, all matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Overall it retains about 75% original nickel with the balance flaked to gray metal, with scattered light surface pitting. Grips are fine with moderate wear.
