FABULOUS GALLE POTTERY FARMYARD SCENE VASE. This incredible early footed pottery vase or planter by Emile Galle depicts a bright and colorful scene of a rooster hen and various chicks in farmyard. Signed to the left “M. Latoche (?)”. The reverse depicts the interior of a barn with hay, wheelbarrow, broom etc. Having molded ring handles on either end. Signed on the underside with raised “E. G.” signature with impressed “244” and numbered in the glaze “3931(?)”. SIZE: Approx. 11-1/2″ l x 4-1/2″ deep x approx. 7″ t. CONDITION: Generally very good, a couple of small glaze imperfections and losses. A beautiful piece of Galle pottery. 5-62193 (1,750-2,750)
