*JAPANESE TYPE 38 ARISAKA MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 6.5 Jap. SN 84389. Standard production Arisaka with matching numbered bolt and bayonet with scabbard. It has 31-1/2″ bbl with usual sights, short upper hand guard and spliced 1-pc stock with sling swivels. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains about 90% orig blue and the receiver about 85% blue with the mum having been ground and the dust cover missing. Wood is sound with a couple of gouges and usual handling & use marks retaining most of a light refinish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. Bayonet has a couple of dents in the scabbard with some light surface rust. Blade is clean, lightly sharpened with about 70% orig blue. 4-54276 (150-250)
