GROENWALD (Dutch, 19th Century) MEETING THE BOATS. Oil on canvas scene shows a group of ladies on beach with two fishing boats with sails up in water. Appears to be a French or Dutch coastal scene. Signed lower right and what appears to be a title, which is illegible. Housed in a magnificent wide and deep gesso decorated antique frame. SIZE: 15-1/2” x 23-1/2”. CONDITION: Relined, inpainted.
