TIFFANY & CO. SILVER BOX. Extremely fine Tiffany & Co. silver box has applied decoration of loops and flowers surrounding the entire cylindrical body. The top is decorated with an applied reeded handle and matching loop and flower design. Signed on the underside “Tiffany & Co. 2555 Sterling” as well as an “M” within an oval and “119 Union Square”. This mark dates the piece between 1870 and 1875. It is purported that this box was from the personal collection of Joseph Moore; famed silversmith who did work for Tiffany & Co. during this period.
