ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON #3 AMERICAN TRANSITION LARGE FRAME REVOLVER. Call 44 American. Silver finish, 8” keyhole ribbed bbl with about 75% coverage fine New York style engraving and 2-pc modern replacement ivory grips. This revolver has the 1st Model frame with 2nd style locking hammer. SN 6652. CONDITION: Very good. Retains about 90% silver plating and about 95% restored case colors on the hammer, latch, trigger and trigger guard. Grips are sound with numerous age lines.
