MONUMENTAL DAUM VASE WITH DRAGONFLY. Spectacular monumental vase has beautiful cameo carvings of roses, leaves and stems in panels around the bulbous body and extending up the long slender neck. Leaves and stems are enameled with gray and black highlights and roses are delicately enameled in pastel shades of red and yellow. The vase has several applied colorful cabochons in red and green and flying amongst the roses is a cameo and pastel enameled butterfly and a dragonfly. Signed on bottom “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. This is truly a beautiful and delicately decorated vase. SIZE: 24-3/4” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-70563 (13,000-16,000)
