LOWNEY’S COCOA TIN STORE STRING HOLDER. A great country store item, this two-sided advertisement for Lowney’s Cocoa also served to hold a spool of twine for wrapping packages. As the twine is pulled off the spool, it raises a die cut tin cocoa cup as an added attention grabber. Manufactured by the H.D. Beach Co., Coshocton, OH. SIZE: 14-1/2” w x 25-1/2” h. CONDITION: Sign grades good to very good overall with some areas of pitting and paint loss concentrated around the perimeter edges. Some of the surface blemishes appear to be a fine overspray or splatter which might possibly be reduced with a thorough cleaning. The tin die cut cup is a replacement. PF 1-6786 (1,000-1,500)
