*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 635969. Standard grade rifle with 24-1/4” rnd bbl, full magazine, standard front sight with screw and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered straight grain American walnut wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Bbl and magazine tube retain 94-95% strong bright original blue with light muzzle wear and a nick or two. Receiver retains 75-80% original blue, brighter on the sides, thin on the top and bottom. There is evidence that the wood was sanded while still installed, as there are scratches at the front and back edges of the receiver. Stock has a chip by the top tang and a tiny chip at the toe, otherwise is sound and retains most of an amateur refinish. Hammer will not hold a full cock or safety notch, otherwise mechanics are fine. Bright shiny bore with a spot or two of light pitting. 4-52872 JR374 (750-1,250)
