SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 TARGET REVOLVER. Cal. 38-44. Blue finish, 6-1/2” keyhole ribbed bbl, short 1-line address, target front sight, missing the rear sight blade and one of the retaining screws. Caliber is marked on the left side of the bbl. Fitted with 2-pc monogrammed hard rubber grips. Trigger is checkered. Consignor reports this is 1 of 900 made in this configuration. SN 4042. CONDITION: Good, as refinished. All matching except the grips, which are unnumbered. Right grip has a large chip out of the bottom and the left has turned chocolate, both show light wear.
