OUTSTANDING PAINT DECORATED AND CARVED SEA CHEST. Outside painted in blue/green with the top having three circles with star and pinwheel design in red, white and blue. Carved side beckets with carved stars and painted and knotted rope handles. Inside of the lid having a fabulous paint decoration with central heart shaped shield in red, white and blue and four circle and stars in red, white and blue all against a blue background with red and white stripes. As fine a decorated sea chest as you will find. Key is present. SIZE: 15-1/4” h x 38-3/4” w (without beckets) x 16” d. CONDITION: Some wear to top surface, generally very good. 9-71433 (8,000-12,000)
