LOT OF THREE GERMAN BISQUE HEAD DOLLS. a) 20″, (51 cm), Kestner “Hilda” baby incised (J.D.K. made in Germany 14 J.D.K. 237). With blue glass sleep eyes, original mohair wig over plaster pate (removed), on five-piece bent limb body (not a Kestner body). CONDITION: Very good, but slight color loss on right cheek; b) 23″, (58 cm), with the head incised “182 Germany 55”, on a fully jointed wooden composition body stamped “Made in Germany”. CONDITION: In overall good condition with one chipped finger. The blue glass sleep eyes work well, no wig, clothes, or shoes; c) 19-1/2″, (50 cm), child incised “1078 Simon-Halbig Germany 9” with blue glass sleep eyes, lower painted lashes, and silk upper lashes, open mouth with four teeth, on good quality fully-jointed body in good condition with restoration to the hands. She wears a dark brown human hair wig, probably replaced. CONDITION: Overall condition is good. 1-7219 RS (800-1,200)
