LARGE EARLY ORNATE GILT OVAL MIRROR. Heavy oval plate glass mirror in an ornate carved and gesso decorated frame with gilt and sand-type finish. Ornamented with faux relief putti on each side of the mid-section and cornucopias of fruit and flowers. Probably early 19th century. SIZE: 69” l x 37” w. CONDITION: Some imperfections to molded design; plate glass mirror cracked. 9-26595 (1,750-2,750)
