ENGRAVED FOREIGN COPY OF A SHOULDER STOCK FOR SMITH & WESSON RUSSIAN REVOLVER. Nickel finish with about 70% coverage Nimschke style engraving and French walnut wood. Engraving covers the entire sides of the grip iron and thumbnut. Nickel plated, smooth steel buttplate. Iron has two notches for the backstrap and one for the butt. Thumbscrew is numbered 523. CONDITION: Very fine. Iron retains most of its original nickel plating and the wood about 95% original varnish with a few small gouges and a number of light nicks and dings. 4-47973 JR118 (Anderson Collection) (1,500-3,000)
