STEUBEN HERITAGE GAZELLE VASE. This vase was designed by Sidney Waugh in the 1930’s but was produced in 1989. Vase has a delicate thin wall and is copper wheel engraved with a graceful gazelle. The original production was part of the acclaimed Steuben display at the 1939 World’s Fair. This reissue was in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Fair. Pictured on pg. 298 of the new Madigan book “Steuben Glass: An American Tradition in Crystal”. Comes with Steuben red leather binder and original red leather presentation box. SIZE: 7-1/2 in. t.
