SIGNED (Chinese, Early to Mid 19th Century) PAIR OF CHINESE BOAT PORTRAITS. 1) Small boat with two canopy top having man in the colorful cabin and Chinese lanterns having from front awning. Two character signature at bottom middle. 2) Large colorful boat with central cabin having two rooftops manned by three pairs of oarsmen. Bottom middle signed with two character signature. Both identically housed in ebonized molded wood frames with mattes. SIGHT SIZE: 12-1/2” x 16”. CONDITION: 1) Large vertical foxing line. 2) Brown toned background and restoration to a tear on right corner. 9-71324 (600-800)
