*FABULOUS CUSTOM STOCK WINCHESTER 52 SPORTER. SN BS3489. Cal. 22 long rifle. 24″ bbl with banded ramped hooded front sight. Usual 52 sporter bbl weight, characteristic 52 action topped with Weaver K4 50th anniversary scope with engraved rings, and cap covers identifying as 1933 50th anniversary 1983 Bill Weaver with gold bust, and trimmed with gold rear and front retaining ring. Custom lower metal with customized magazine, and magazine release inside trigger guard. Stocked in extremely fancy exhibition type walnut with 90 degree black forend tip, and elaborate Fleur De Lis checkered forend with inlet swivel base, two black stock reinforcement bolts, and elaborate Fleur De Lis checkered pistol grip with metal grip cap with trap door. Left side oval cheek piece, inlet swing swivel base, and steel checkered butt plate with trap door, inlet and leather lined to house spare magazine. We are unaware of who crafted this fine sporter but it is some outstanding work. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal parts retain 98-99% of their fine custom matte bluing, and stock with it’s fine hand rub oil finish has only a few minor handling marks. 4-32014 BDT170 (2,500-3,500)
