MONUMENTAL DAUM APPLIED VASE. This very beautiful Daum vase has cameo and enameled vine descending from the mouth of the vase and encircling the entire vase. The vine is beautifully enameled in greens and yellows and has clusters of cameo and enameled red berries. Accentuating the berries are a large number of applied red cabochon berries giving the vase a three-dimensional effect. The background glass is beautifully mottled greens, browns and lavender at the base shading to mottled yellow at the top. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine.
