BASILE BRYAN (ECUADOR, 20th Century) “THREE IS A FAMILY” WITH ORIGINAL SKETCH. Outstanding large oil on masonite scene shows a woman with infant and child. They sit on a cobblestone road and step with two containers of fruit. The child and mother are dressed in colorful South American clothes. Signed lower right “Basile Bryan”. Housed in a black partial gilt frame with linen and gold liner. An original label affixed to reverse with title, artist and dated “1974”. Original sketch is included with the painting which is also signed and described on back. Housed in a partial gilt and black frame with linen matte (glass with crack). SIZE: 24″ x 36″.
