NIEMANN (British, mid 19th Century) CASTLE AT SUNSET. Large oil on canvas scene shows a castle with lake against a sunset sky with small waterfall and river emptying to a foreground pool. A large tree is seen on left side. Signed bottom right “Niemann 1851/2/3”. Possibly the work of Edmund John Niemann. Housed in a modern wide gilt molded wood frame. SIZE: 34” x 44”. CONDITION: Relined, restored with inpainting, otherwise very good. 9-73836 (8,000-10,000)
