Black hair with brown bushy sideburns. Fancy gold chain/watch fob dangles from pocket. He sits in red upholstered chair, arm and hand resting on arm. He holds a folded letter which the artist has signed “Cha’s Cole 71 High St Topham 1845”. On back of stretcher is name of sitter. SIZE: 30″ h x 25″ w.
