CUT DOWN REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE. Cal. Either 11 mm Danish or 43 Spanish. SN 0178. A very tired specimen with bbl reduced to 22-1/2″, no sights, two bands with forestock reduced accordingly. Extremely long replacement buttstock with unusual smooth buttplate. CONDITION: Poor to fair. Crusty brown patina on the metal, worn dark forestock, cracked wrist with bright patina on the buttstock. Broken hammer spring, worn dark bore. From the Collection of the late Allen Graves. 4-54367 JR85 (75-150)
