CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN ROSE MEDALLION TEMPLE VASE. Mid-19th century. With a scalloped everted rim above a long neck applied with gilt double foo dog handles alternating with salamanders at the shoulders, the body of tapering cylindrical form, decorated overall with alternating panels of domestic scenes and flora and fauna. SIZE: 36″ h. CONDITION: Very good condition overall, with a six-inch hairline crack running from the rim edge into the midpoint of the throat, under blacklight shows restoration. 9-92588 (2,750-3,250)
