JACQUES STEPHEN WITJENS (Dutch, 1881-1956) DUTCH HARBOR. Large oil on canvas harbor scene shows several large Dutch sailing ships moored at the end of a harbor lined with house. A number of smaller fishing vessels are seen on right side and a solitary rowboat with man is seen on left. Signed lower right “Jacques Witjens Stephen”. Housed in a simple flat gold liner. SIZE: 39-1/2” x 63”. CONDITION: One patch to reverse with corresponding inpainting. Good. 9-73562 (3,500-5,000)
