SMALL OIL ON BOARD “WINDMILL AT BRIDGEHAMPTON” BY THOMAS MORAN (1837-1926). Painting shows windmill on left side with grassy marsh and threatening sky. Signed lower right with artist monogram TM. Label on reverse indicates title. Housed in a gold gesso decorated frame. We believe this to be the Beebe Windmill that is located at Ocean Road and Hildreth Ave. which was built in Bridgehampton Long Island in 1820 and moved in 1915. SIZE: 6″ h x 10″ w.
