*WINCHESTER 1897 PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN. SN 500243. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ bbl with single brass sighting bead. 2-1/2″ chamber marked modified choke. Mounted with nicely figured straight grain walnut, 18-ring forend with uncheckered pistol grip stock. 13-1/2″ over Winchester hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: .728 Bore restriction: .007 Wall thickness: .067 Drop at heel:2″ Drop at comb: 1-5/8″ Weight: 7 lbs. 11 oz. CONDITION: Very good. BBL and magazine to retain 85-90% orig. blue with muzzle wear and some thinning and usual light nicks and dings. Magazine has wear marks from normal pump action use with blue blended with brown patina. Magazine band has flaked to a silver gray patina. Receiver and bbl ext. have 70-80% orig. blue with wear and flaking, blended back with brown patina. Few small shallow corrosion spots on top and bottom of receiver. Stocks are sound with just a few normal light nicks and dings and retain most of a fine added finish. 4-32106 BDT150 (800-1,000)
